This item is a much cheaper version of the description. It does NOT have the "pad reverses to ultrasoft polyester fill."

When I received this pad the cardboard insert says that it is 100% wool. I noticed through the plastic bag it came in the tag attached to the the pads says " 75% polyester 25%wool". It is not reversible, one side is fluffy with a backing attached that is rough and scratchy.Since I have a problem with polyester I called Target and they had only the info that the manufacturer gave them. I found the manufacturer on line and called them and had to leave a message. They called today and were very helpful. They had a gentleman from the production office call me and he was very helpful. When he called me back he told me that the "fluffy" side is 75% polyester and 25% wool. The wool contained in the mix is 100% merino wool. The pad isn't made any more.So if you want to sleep on wool for the cool/warm, natural pad this is not for you. Polyester, since it is a synthetic will cause you to perspire. I am sending it back today. I need all wool.

75% polyester and 25% wool, so look out if you think you are getting a real wool mattress pad from this item. This is deceptive advertising, however... Target was quite gracious and helpful with my concern and return.

I LOVE this mattress pad. It is every bit as nice as one I paid almost double for. It is soft and very comfortable on my pillow top mattress. I did notice an odor, but I put the mattress pad in the dryer with an odor release product, and the odor is gone. I would recommend this mattress pad to my friends.......
